Damage to the customer's own vehicle, or to a rental, is usually handled by a separate property/responsibility clause and insurance — the template captures the driver's acceptance of that responsibility alongside the injury release.
- Should I confirm the driver's licence and condition?
- Yes. Recording that the driver represented they were licensed, competent, and not impaired strengthens the waiver and is basic risk management before you hand over a fast car, let someone onto a track, or perform work that depends on the customer's representations.
